Very large ponderosa (or Jeffrey) pine

Somewhere off the Pacific Crest Trail a mile or so south of the Henness Pass trailhead, California. Inset shows the size of this tree--it's old growth the old-timers missed! I dunno whether it's a Jeffrey or ponderosa because we didn't check the cones.
And, btw, I misidentified a red fir as a ponderosa a while back:
