A wonderful place, but only been there twice because if somehow ends up not quite fitting in with other explorations

It's spectacular but rather limited in area. We actually were thru there to go on some of the bike trails that Brian Head runs in the summertime. You can take a trail down to Panguitch Lake and then get a shuttle back!

Thanks! There are lots of mini-Bryces in the general area where the Wasatch is exposed on a crest. We took the back way from Navajo Lake down to UT 9 (on the Navajo Lake-North Fork rd, IIRC), and we saw a number of such occurrences. Here's one example:

This is looking back north from the area of the North Fork of the Virgin, where it's starting to drop into Zion.

These places would be state or at least county parks anywhere else! ;)
