The Bear, the Rig, and the Beer

The Bear, the Rig, and the Beer
Twin Lakes Resort, Sierra Nevada, California, USA. This bear has gotten into an ice chest (why you _don't_ leave them outside in bear country!) and is drinking what he's found there. The bears have learned to puncture aluminum beverage cans with their teeth and extract the contents.
This is _not_ our rig, I hasten to add! You can get a fine for leaving stuff out that bears can get into. They're not supposed to get used to living off humans. "Keep wildlife wild," as the slogan goes.

Robert Swanson, , William Sutherland, have particularly liked this photo

Thanks, everyone! Yeah, it was a bit nerve wracking--he was a small bear, so we worried that Mama Bear might be in the vicinity, but he seemed to be on his own.
