Lower Spokane Falls

In Riverfront Park, downtown Spokane, Washington, USA. The straight, even fall right at the top is artificial. It's over a diversion weir that sends some of the flow into a hydropower generating plant, built around the turn of the last century.

When we were up there in '12, we ran into an English couple--newlyweds--who were doing a similar loop, altho they started in Canada and had rented a car there. They were staying at the same B&B we were in Coeur d'Alene. Since we were celebrating our 32nd, they asked us what our secret was ;)
We lived in Washington for much of the 80s, and get back up there about once a year.
