Dancing trees?

They look like they're swaying in time to the music, but the trunks are bent because of the winter snowpack when they were saplings! This is an extremely common phenomenon anywhere you get a snowpack. They're all bent in the same direction because the snow is deposited on the lee side of the ridge crest (to the left, off the photo). I've got lots and lots of pix of similarly bent trees in the Sierra Nevada, but this is a spectacular example! On the trail to Mt. Washington, Plumas County, California, USA, in Plumas National Forest just south of Plumas-Eureka State Park. Map position is approximate.
