Toiyabe Crest Trail, Toiyabe Range, Nevada, USA

Around 10K feet here, on the main crest of the range. This trail was a Depression-era(!) project and I'm told that parts remote from the trailhead have almost vanished. "Toiyabe" is pronounced "toy-YAH-bee," btw.

Indeed! But a mile or so on we got to a place where the trail is very narrow and carved out of a steep slope, and my wife had to give it up there.
