A sort of lame contribution to the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Futuristic".
I found a roll of film from the 1950s in my husband's grandmother's things in the early 1990s. About 10 years later I was teaching an "Intro to the Darkroom" class to some teens, and decided to develop the film from the canister. This one photo was strangely solarized - and (with a little imagination) qualifies as "Futuristic" in my mind.
My husband is the toddler with his fingers in his mouth. His Dad looks like a hippie cult leader (dressed normally in the real photo)
Here they are - teleporting off the dock of their grandparents' summer house on Great Island, Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire, 1957.
