Be-spectacled Girls From Oldham, UK

Re-scanned and brought forward for the "Glasses" theme of Vintage Theme Park.
This is a cabinet card from my husband's GGrandmother's album. The people in it are almost all unknown and unnamed. This is one of the many from Oldham in northern England, probably sent out to the relatives who had emigrated to the States. Many of the people look working class or poor. Their clothes are very basic, and they often look somewhat unhealthy. Perhaps they were mine workers or factory/mill workers.
Or perhaps /I'm imagining that, and they were all fairly well to do. : )
