That's what this child jumper was called. Colin looks fairly glum, but he actually loved it.
We inherited this ancient looking 70s jumper.
After Colin saw this photo, he remarked at how lucky he felt still being able to father a child. lol

haha.You're right about that. I don't know if you remember the design of this thing, but those two ropes hooked on to a crossbar that was connected to one of those insanely pinchy springs - about six inches long - and that was connected to a claw like thing that went over the doorway. (I think I'm remembering this right.)
You had to start off with the baby lying down, then you swung him upright and tottered over to the doorway, climbed on a stool and forced your trembling arms to hook over the rim. (with the baby deadweight in the sling)
DAMN lucky to be alive, I'd say!
