Sigrid and Annette

Probably taken in the 1940s, these sisters were Lundbechs - my grandfathers sisters - who emigrated to the U.S. from Denmark and whose families lived just a few short miles away from us on Long Island Sound - without us knowing of their existence.
My father was never told he had aunts. Very strange.

Sigrid looks a lot like my Auntie Joan - my father's sister, I think.
