Springfield, Vermont Baseball

This is Ernest Illingworth, fourth from the right, in the light shirt and belted pants, and hands behind his back. He is my husband's maternal grandfather.
Ernest was a top notch baseball player. He got picked for the (under team)[?] of the Red Sox - but I forget what happened. I'll post at some point.
This is probably late 20s/early 30s, Springfield, Vermont.
