Marie Rose (Hellyer) Gregory

This beautiful portrait is a photograph of my mother's mother Marie Rose (Hellyer) Gregory (called Rose by her family) and is another photo sent to me by Alix which I had never seen before. (See previous photo in my stream for astonishing power of Flickr explanation.) She was Alix's G grandmother's sister - in- law.
Rose died when my mother was two years old and my mother only had one photo of her (the one taken on her honeymoon with my grandfather in my Gregory set)
