Graffiti Tree

How Not to Celebrate Earth Day :-(
Earlier this week, I visited Longwood Gardens and took a stroll through the forest path. As I was walking along, I saw no less than 5 trees completely covered from the ground to about 7 feet up the trunk with carved-in grafitti. It was a small demonstration on why we need to have an Earth Day; so we can be reminded to respect mother nature and avoid the urge to leave our "mark" everywhere we go.

It's rather rare to see FIVE trees in the same place covered by grafitti ...
Beautiful and interesting photograph anyway, Valerie.
