Oh I won't laugh at you at all Val. I know just how that feels. This turned out so well. It's really pretty with such nice bokeh. Great job!!

Now that I have started using my manual settings too I am finding that I really prefer them so much. You'll have to let me know if that happens for you too okay? I haven't tried them while out shooting in public places yet though. That will be the next step....

This is great Diane ... I love the monochromatic bokeh and the focus on the water droplet is superb. I wish I could use the manual focus more, but as a spectacle wearer I find it almost impossible! :(

Out of interest, did you desaturate this or was everything as cold and grey?
