Noontime Rain

It was foggy and wet, very wet. I decided to play around with manual focus for a change, and realized I could hone in on subjects that are hard to get with the lens set on automatic (yes, go ahead and laugh). I guess I am slowly losing my fear of manual settings...
So, this is what one of the branches on my Red Maple looks like at Noon, in the winter rain :)

You'll have to let me know if that happens for you too okay? I haven't tried them while out shooting in public places yet though. That will be the next step....
Valfal club has replied to Karen's Place clubGood luck with your endeavors; I love what you have done since getting your new lens :))

Out of interest, did you desaturate this or was everything as cold and grey?
