Very nice photo! A squirrel would probably pass it by and look for something more tasty. But, I would pick it up because pinecones are so unique.

Thanks, Yvonne and Kenny! I never knew a squirrel to eat a pine cone, but this one is a beauty. I have a couple of large pine trees, and this cone came from the one in my front yard.
