Soar y Mynydd, Mid Wales

I can never drive through the heart of Wales without paying my regards to Soar-y-Mynydd Church. It's an astonishingly perfect Georgian church - nobody lives within a ten mile radius (at least) any more
We were there just after midday on the last day of the July heatwave. The grass was more parched than is usual for July in Wales and the sun was overhead and beating down.
Until I developed the film the other night I had no idea that the matt black gravestone would be so, well, black....
Can black ever be "dazzling"
