Glorious, and well found for the perspective and light and shade contrasts all in the one shot. A beauty!

Thanks. Note when it was taken (it's a Kodachrome slide). The sky was added in 45 years later.

These are tricks that are entirely beyond me but 'hats off!' for the terrific results you achieve here and elsewhere, Howard!

Get yourself a copy of "PhotoShop for Dummies" and give it a try. Doing things like removing eyesores (TV aerials, cables etc.) and replacing skies is easy when you know how and the learning curve isn't great. Like anything else, you start with the basics and move on from there - it doesn't have to be all or nothing. Without photo editing, 2 of of 3 of my pictures wouldn't have been worth taking.

I may well do just that, Howard. Thank you for the tip!

Not only a wonderfully framed beautiful landscape, but perfect lighting. The lines of the wall and the road combine to make this just amazing Howard. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much. I'll give my young self a pat on the back. I just wish that 45+ years ago I'd anticipated digital editing, and had taken many pictures which I didn't take because they were spoiled by eyesores that can now be removed, or because the lighting was too flat, which with tonemapping can now be enhanced.
