Byron, Islington (1) - 3 August 2020

The branch of Byron at 341 Upper Street, Islington, closed for COVID-19, might well be one of those that stays permanently closed under a recent restructuring agreement. The contraction of the chain is a sad development. I rather like their offerings and became used to the intentionally distressed exteriors and interiors of many of their restaurants. Trying to get a pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle free image even during the pandemic is a real challenge.
