South Library - 1 August 2020

South Library, 115-117 Essex Road, London N1.
The presentation of these images will teach some to suck eggs and be a source of wonder to others. I am fortunate to have a partner who helps to edit photographs the way I would like them when my own limited skills are exhausted. Those of us without expensive correcting lens often settle for photographs like the upper picture rather than nothing at all. If you leave enough room in the original, quite a lot can be done in PS but you will note that the resulting image, although pleasing in its own way, still has areas of distortion, notably the library and street signs. The subject though is worthy of record in a borough which, although run down in many parts has some magnificent old buildings.
