Turkish Baths Arcade - 7 December 2019

This is the kind of thing I just love to find in London (or any city), a delicious reminder of the past. This sign is on the pavement at the corner of Russell Square and Guilford (sic) Street WC1. It points towards the Turkish Baths Arcade which was in the original Imperial Hotel which was demolished in 1966 and replaced by the present day structure, also the Imperial Hotel.

There is an informative article online but, highlighting the vagaries of the internet, it refers repeatedly to Guildford Street. I have filed a record shot of a sign with the correct spelling.
