As the footprint of the former RNAS Daedalus has shrunk, development around the outside of what is now the thriving Solent Airport has continued apace. One of the latest projects is the construction of CETC, the Civil Engineering Training Centre which is on the site of Hangar D, once occupied by Bournemouth Avionics and logically near CEMAST [qv] and Fareham Innovation Centre [also qv]. This is a view from Meteor Way with the glazing in place but, if the billboard image is correct, not yet all the cladding.
