Coal Drops Yard (3) - 27 July 2019

The retail development of the buildings in Coal Drop Yards in London's new N1C postcode is an architectural masterpiece. A sympathetic retention of the major structures with additions and alterations to enhance the new roles of the buildings clearly deserves an award.
Another masterpiece of innovation, although there are similar schemes elsewhere, is the residential development, Gasholder Park which can be seen in the background.
To walk here is a reaffirmation of faith in planning after years of exposure to the merciless destruction of the skyline in The City.
