A Forlorn Conclusion (2) - 8 March 2019

Standing forlornly and shamefully graffitied at Acton Town are four DMs from withdrawn 1967 (Victoria Line) stock. The pairs, which were part of four car units in service, 3022 + 3122 and 3107 + 3007 are not coupled. After withdrawal, they were converted to form part of a new Tunnel Cleaning Train but the project to provide that fell through. DM 3022 is shown here together with evidence (right) that the surrounding infrastructure is not immune from the taggers either.
