Dissenters Chapel (2) - 25 November 2018

Dissenters Chapel (2) - 25 November 2018
From time to time, I come across a delightful piece of architecture. This is a joy in itself and a greater joy to share with my ipernity audience. In the grounds of Highland Road Cemetery, Portsmouth (1854) stands the beautiful but apparently disused Romanesque Dissenters chapel. Two chapels, the other is Anglican, and the lodge were designed by Thomas Ellis Owen who was responsible for the overall design of the cemetery including its wall.
