Daedalus Development, Sign of the Times (1) - 20 March 2018

Daedalus Development, Sign of the Times (1) - 20 March 2018
Less than seven years ago, the end of what is now Spitfire Way led to the forbidding sight of a heavy, rusty chain at the then Crash Gate 4 of Lee on Solent Airfield. The present Solent Airport is contained within smaller boundaries than the historic RNAS Daedalus and, all around, dynamic programmes have led to the development of commercial and educational facilities. The rather obscure access road to Crash Gate 4 which became Spitfire Way leads to new properties both landside and airside. This sign, at the junction of Spitfire Way with Broom Way, advertises the availability of some of those.
