A Helping Hand for the Homeless - 26 November 2017

This DAF M27JOB (a personalised plate with amusing local significance) of Boarhunt Heavy Recovery played an important role today in the transfer of former Stagecoach Volvo Olympian R752DRJ to its new home with the Robert Dolling Project at St Agatha's Church, Portsmouth.

As planned by the amazing ladies of the erstwhile Bus Project, Portsmouth who conceived its conversion to a static shelter for the homeless, the bus was today displayed outside Fratton Park (Anson Road) so that the public could see inside before it assumes fully its new role. Although the bus is drivable, various factors meant that it needed to be towed and M27JOB was the vehicle for the job.
