Zany Zebras On Parade_028 - 12 July 2016

Thirty one zebras took part in a parade around Southampton to mark the imminent start of Marwell's Zany Zebras event in and around the city from 16 July - 25 September 2016. Thirty of the animals were on three trucks but the poster boy Gilbert rode on the flatbed of a Marwell Mazda pick-up. Here, Gilbert looks rather regal as he passes Hoglands Park during the parade.

Gilbert has travelled extensively to promote the event and became even more famous in May when he was stolen. He was recovered quickly by Hampshire Police.
