The Spirit of a Decade - 8 May 2016

The expansion of Havant's Solent Retail Park is all but complete and its newest resident, Next, forms the backdrop to an image of some elements of the 2010s.

Managed car parks are everywhere since their effective enforcement was recognised as a nice little income stream for someone. The major coffee chains are near ubiquitous and still multiplying their number of outlets. Havant's Next incorporates a Costa. The 2007+ Fiat 500 has taken to our streets in considerable numbers and my observations suggest that the type is especially prolific in Hampshire.
