Since my first, and hitherto only, photograph at this site in Lee on Solent, taken on 29 November 2015, work has continued steadily on the provision of a new car park and associated facilities for the Alver Valley Country Park.

One day the entire planet will be covered in car parks. With no cars! as everybody will be dead either of fumes poisoning, or hunger (all the grain will have gone into bioofuel for feeding the cars) or moral disgust or simply boredom. :-)

I imagine that as possible. The irony here is that the Alver Valley Country Park is meant to be a 'lung' separating the urban areas of Lee on Solent and Gosport. The car park and visitor centre are deemed necessary to support the visitors to such a haven.
