Looking Beyond Cwmgwrach (2) - 27 August 2015

It was sad but exciting to visit the railway tracks at Cwmgwrach, a place where the railway was curtailed a long time ago and mining more recently in spite of the valiant efforts of many. In these first three of six photographs from today, my views of the headshunt for what are now only very occasional trains look towards where the line once continued north east along the Vale of Neath and beyond.
