This picture introduces a short series of non-railway subjects photographed, perhaps unexpectedly, on the Mid-Hants Railway. The accessibility of the railway and the relatively gentle pace of its activities allow plenty of time to find subjects away from the locomotives and rolling stock and, as you will see, to come up with some (hopefully) innovative compositions. The roses were at Alresford station.
