Neoplan Spaceliner in Trafalgar Square (1) - 1 August 1986
Another glimpse into the past comes from this picture of a visiting coach in Trafalgar Square. Neoplan Spaceliner 17/AIC-HR 17 of Hörmann-Reisen is seen outside Canada House facing in the direction opposite to that in which traffic flows today. The Routemaster on route 159 is a reminder of one of the frustrations of travel in London - the short journey - as the trip was unlikely to have been timetabled to finish here. Hörmann-Reisen are still in business and still operating vehicles in a similar livery.
