Flying Aviation Expo 2014 (204) - 1 November 2014

Two days after the Parade of Planes and my modest night shots, I returned to the Palm Springs Convention Center to view the static display in the enticing dawn light. I think that special time of day has brought something to many of the pictures in this final part of my album.

As dawn became day, I walked around the outside of the Convention Center to Calle Alvarado for some final shots. Rutan Long-EZ N400EZ had been placed at the Convention Center entrance. On the west side of the building, the early light did not fall directly on the aircraft but did create some pleasing effects as the subtly lit landscapes were reflected in the windows.
