Man, Machine and Mountain - 2 November 2014
One of the few things that could enhance the beautiful views of the San Jacinto Mountains from Palm Springs is the sound of a radial engine on a biplane skirting the terrain on its flight around the area. This Stearman probably took off from the nearby airport. Several classic planes were seen later in the day perhaps marking the end of Aviation Expo 2014.
