L'Ecluse du Bassin de Chasse (2) - 21 Septembre 2014

The weather was inclement but slowly improving when we decided to walk from our mooring into the town of Honfleur. Walking allows you to see the things you might otherwise miss and on this occasion it was the remarkable 19th century sluice gates which are the subject of the explanatory placard on the right. The engineering, architecture and associated history were captivating.
