Around Leicester (9) - 14 July 2014

I love to walk around a city and enjoy its architecture, especially the historical architecture. Donisthorpe Friars Mill charms across the centuries but, seen more closely, its state of dereliction and that of its surroundings is sad and scars the city. The land, has, apparently, been earmarked for development but, as is often the case in this country, any progress has been preceded by years of neglect and wrangling.
