A Street View in Jaffa (1) - 16 May 2014

At the risk of losing some dignity or credibility, I shall accompany this photograph with a brief tale. On my first visit to Jaffa, I was looking for the old station, which is not well signposted. I hope I am not the only one who might imagine this attractive building as a former railway station (allowing for changed surroundings). Anyway this is not that station but houses some small shop units. It stands between Sderot Yerushalayim [Jerusalem Boulevard] (right) and the narrow Bat Ami.
