4-CEP 7105 at Eastleigh (3) - 24 March 2014

The driving cars from from 4-CEP emu 7105 were moved to Eastleigh from Stewarts Lane in a well documented move on 3 January 2014 having earlier been moved from the East Kent Railway. The objective of the EPB Preservation Group is to 'unrefurbish' these cars. For now, they make a star attraction at Eastleigh even though in one of my least favourite liveries. In this unusual view, I have intentionally allowed an architectural feature of the works to dominate the image, its permanence emphasising the transience of the many visitors to the site.
