Gary Sobers (1) - 10 March 2014

One of the exciting things about going to Barbados, in fact the only exciting thing on what turned out to be a bad day, was being able to visit the Kensington Oval. The ground is visible from the ship in surprisingly unprepossessing surroundings. Outside is the inevitable statue of the island's greatest cricketer, Gary Sobers (Sir Garfield Sobers).
