Volkswagen 1500 (1) - 19 December 2013

The development of more housing near my home has created a building site with a lot of extra parked vehicles but the situation is not without some joy as this gem is parked amongst them. I once owned a much less common (in the UK) Volkswagen 1600L notchback. The Volkswagen 1500 was the model of the time in this country and the owner of this has done a pretty good job looking after this example. It is not without blemishes and I was amused to see the state of the exhaust - which brings back memories - but there are a couple of nice additions including some rather non-contemporary wheels. I was charmed enough to post three pictures.
