United N21723 departing SFO - 16 November 2013

Bayfront Park, straddling the city line between Burlingame and Millbrae on San Francisco Bay, makes a lovely place to watch aircraft (and birds). With the distances involved, I had no aspirations for great photographs but just went for some fun shots on a sunny afternoon. These included some RW01R departures shooting the gaps in a steady stream of westerly arrivals. Here, the lower part of the new control tower under construction can be seen behind departing United B737-700 N21723.
