Old Transamerica Building (detail) - 15 November 2013

Only a short distance from the Transamerica Pyramid (itself vacated by the corporation for a Baltimore HQ), stands the magnificent early 20th century flatiron building formerly occupied by Transamerica but now by the Church of Scientology. Unfortunately, I can find little about the history of this beautiful building online but the rich architectural detail deserves to be recorded.
