Bike Hangar - 25 September 2013

In the latest bit of pandering to urban cyclists, so-called bike hangars have been introduced in residential streets in Lambeth and, presumably, elsewhere, using valuable parking spaces. This example, occupying two former spaces, is in Handforth Road, SW9 and is a collaboration between Lambeth and a private company. Storage costs £42 a year. The tree islands are also new.
