A beautiful collage. The color scheme is original and gives the images a special feel.

so muted and interesting. I wonder if these pictures are a reflection on how you've been feeling about the world lately? Fascinating. In any event, I love the collage of images. Each deserves attention to reflect upon what the subject is. I especially like the mantis and butterfly image. What luck to see them all together!

BTW, you left me a very thoughtful response in regards to my disheartened view of native americans vs stupid americans and it was very interesting to read.

Regarding Mystic CT and your discovery of the massacre with resulting fury and feelings of woe, I do keep your embracing, hopeful views of people near and dear when I find these situations on my own. I don't know how to deal with it any other way--we have to hope that at least some people will change for the better, even if the majority aren't going to and aren't capable either. It's horrifying that it seems like the overwhelming majority of people are monstrous. But they aren't all. So we have to keep our eyes open for them, and spread the right messages when we can. Sometimes we will attract the good folk and they really are a bright light in all the gloom. You certainly are. I mean...the problem with learning about the world and history is that you will be hit in the face with so much ugliness and horror, but keeping an eye open for anything positive can make it all worthwhile.

Your case in point is learning that at least some native americans don't view all of us interlopers as vile monsters. I don't think I could be counted among them if I were them though, I'd be too angry...though...carrying that torch does nobody any good, does it? Hmm. You keep me thinking about balance, hope, fairness and proper response to the awfulness found everywhere out there.
