Bei diesem foto mussten weder meine kamera noch ich eine abkühlung herbeizaubern, es war einfach eine zauberhafte spiegelung, ganz von selbst :-)

What a beautiful street Edna. I love the colourful buildings and the "eyes" in the roofs!
They give a gorgeous reflection and it's worth viewing large to see the gentle rippling of the water.

Ja, es könnten tatsächlich lego-häuser sein. Die habe ich als kind gern um meinen lego-bahnhof herum aufgebaut. Aber das ist allerdings kein foto davon ;-) Schade, von meinen lego-häuschen habe ich gar kein foto, aber früher ging man ja sehr sparsam mit dem analogfotografieren um.

If I understand your answer to 'Mecklenburg-foto' correctly, the emerging part would be the Polish one, and the other is in Germany - well, as you say, it all depends on the point of view... (made me laugh a lot! ;-)
Looking at the map (the beauty of your photo, I say to myself, deserves a look at the map) I see that you're filming the 'foreign' bank of the Neisse. And I can just imagine how bad things were for this town during the last war and also at the time of the 'Iron Curtain'...

Yes, I'm on the German side and took a photo of the Polish side. I also have photos vice versa :-) Hence the point of view ;-)
Well, actually during the last war this city was pretty lucky because it was almost not at all destroyed. Therefore you can still find many beautiful and historical buildings (some need renovation, but that's not a problem as they're doing it) in Görlitz. And that's also the reason why this city often serves as a backdrop in historical movies. I think the times were worse for this divided city during the Iron Curtain era. Fortunately, that's all over now and you can cross the bridge back and forth without any problems.

Das foto habe ich allerdings von diesseits der brücke aufgenommen. Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden fall, auch mal über die brücke zu gehen. Vor allem da es ja nur eine ist und nicht sieben davon... ;-))
