Chocolate Chip Cookies
If you are shut-in, at least you can make your own cookies.
These chocolate chip macadamia cookies were served at an Oktoberfest event held on Maui. (Yep, we celebrated Oktoberfest every year we were on the island.)
More Chocolate at Maui Community College
We attended a student-run "final exam" dinner at Maui Community College. They have a very aggressive training program. This a different view of the lovely chocolates that were part of the dinner goodies.
Something for those shut in, and thinking about chocolate, chocolate, chocolate....

The person behind this narrow door was offering "blessings" in many languages.

Seems to have the "light and shadow" that would fit with the Sunday Challenge.
In-N-Out on a Plate
Well, we are shut in. However, we were able to get out and get some In-N-Out burgers by going through the drive-thru.
Fancy lunch, we put the burgers on plates.
Yes, that's the REAL Dr. Pepper for lunch.
Taken with the Panasonic GX85 using the 20mm fixed lens (great lens!) and on-camera flash.
Edited with GIMP.
Troopship Zeelandia, "Ship That Brought Us Home",…
These real-photo picture postcards were sold to returning U. S. soldiers as souvenirs. The photographers got pictures of the troopships being used to return the military, and then marked them up with words like "ship that brought us home".

Original photographer unknown, probably from 1919.

Gentoo Penguin in Falklands
Taken at Bluff Cove in the Falklands. The managers there told us to not cross the rope line between the pathway and the rookery. However, the penguins decided to ignore the barrier, and we got a lot of good closeups.

Gentoo Penguins on Beach in Falklands (H.A.N.W.E.)

I was walking on the beach in Bluff Cove and saw a group of penguins arriving from the sea.
They arrived, saw me there, and started to walk quickly along the shoreline. I just stood where I was, and took lots of photos.

An iceberg seen as we arrived in Nanortalik, Greenland on the Veendam . The blue of the ice is quite striking.

Dog in Nanortalik, Greenland (HBM)
This dog was relaxing near the port of Nanortalik, while we walked around the area. The cruise ship Veendam can be seen in the background.
I've added this to the Sunday Challenge for 1 January 2023.
Our view ahead into 2023 should include some cruise travel,
after nearly 3 years of frustration.
Happy New Year to All!!

Purple Wildflower

Taken at the Saguaro National Park, Tucson, Arizona. I used the Panasonic GX85.
The wind was blowing all of these delicate wildflowers around. It was difficult to get a clear shot.
Processed with GIMP.
