Volgens Jean -Paul is de restauratie net in 1980 begonnen.
Ik was daar met mijn ouders die een uitnodiging van Familie gekregen hadden om te logeren een week lang in een bungalow die zei gekocht hadden(ze hadden 80.000 DM mark gewonnen in de lotto) ik leverde hun dus alleen af ,,daarna moest ik 200km naar mijn huis in NL afleggen alleen !

Leider haben die starken Unwetter im August 2021 die Schlossmauer auf der anderen Seite der Burg teilweise zum Einstürzen gebracht, sie wird aber wieder in den nächsten Jahren errichtet werden.
Seit 1980 wurden noch viele Restaurationsarbeiten an der Burg gemacht, ein Umweg dahin lohnt sich, wenn man in Luxemburg verweilt.
Übrigens, mein Foto "Halerbach 0029" wurde nur etwa einen guten Kilometer von da gemacht, es gibt einen wunderbaren Wanderweg von "Vogelsmühle" zum Schloss in Beaufort entlang der Halerbach:
