An interesting glimpse of industrial history, there are no deep mines left in the IK now, although plans to open one in Cumbria is causing controversy it would produce coal for the steel industry

Hier bij mij in de buurt is een 800 m diepe schacht geopend voor het water dat van de diepte omhoog gepompt wordt voor verwarmingsystemen dat water is ca 30 graden ,en stroomt na afkoeling weer terug de schacht in
