De Dagpauwoog is sinds 2018 heel sterk achteruitgegaan , men zegt de abnormale droogte is de belangrijkste oorzaak , maar gepaard aan dit jaar van abnormale droogte werd er bovendien op grote schaal veelvuldig bermen gemaaid op zeer millieu en biodiversiteit verstorende wijze ,waardoor er vrijwel geen rups of pop alleen al hierdoor niet heeft kunnen overleven ...,jouw mooie foto is nog van 2017 .
