Ah ah ah 1983...!

This is very good. The pretty girl in a dilapidated building makes a fine contrast and the empty bottle introduces a new colour and shape, with a texture quite different to the rough interior wall. The girl poses well: I like the way her hands mirror her feet. It's a bit grainy, but that could be intentional. With film, you never knew if you had accurately guessed the extra exposure needed for a backlit subject and in this case you have wisely preserved detail in the window. The photography books of the day told us to bracket exposures but they presumed we were unconcerned by the costs of film and processing.

A very expressive portrait. I like the glowing light, its golden sheen in the window panes and in the model's hair. The bottle is a nice touch, lending interest to this fascinating image.
